Terms and Conditions

Last updated 30 October 2026

These terms apply when you hire me, John Pajegal, for a website, branding, animation or video project. By paying the deposit you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, ask me before you pay.

1. Quotes and scope

Before work starts, I send you a quote that sets out what's included, the price and the expected timeline. Anything not in the quote, like extra pages, features or changes, is quoted separately before I do it.

2. Payment

3. Your part

You provide the text, photos, logos and logins I need, and give feedback on time. Delays on your side can move the timeline. You confirm you have the right to use everything you send me.

4. Changes and revisions

Your quote says how many rounds of changes are included. Further changes are quoted before I make them.

5. Ownership

Once you've paid in full, the final website, design files or video made for you are yours to use. Fonts, stock images, plugins and other third-party items stay under their own licences. I may show the finished work in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

6. Domains and hosting

Domains and hosting are registered in your name where possible, and renewal fees are yours to pay. I'm not responsible for outages or changes made by third-party providers.

7. Cancellations

You can cancel at any time by telling me in writing. The deposit covers work already done and isn't refunded. If more work has been done than the deposit covers, I'll invoice you for it.

8. Liability

I take care with every project, but I'm not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales or data. My total responsibility is limited to the amount you've paid me for the project.

9. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. The version on this page when you pay your deposit is the one that applies to your project.
